This is a list of my short stories, poems etc. Some have been published in magazines or anthologies or won prizes\certificates in competitions. - C. A. Broadribb.

My Fiction

Most of the stories and poems listed below are included in my ebooks. See the 'My Books' tab.

I write my own material. I don't hire ghostwriters or use AI software.

Note that the 2003 poem 'Singing Midget' was developed with the aid of an online poetry generator by Michael Creaton (less advanced than AI - it randomly selected words and phrases from its own lists). There have also been times where I've run material that I've written myself through an automatic online translator, translating it from English to an obscure language and back again, and used some of the resulting interesting mistranslated words or phrases in my writing. (Not so much Artifical Intelligence as Artificial Stupidity!)

Some publications pay for contributions; most don't. Competitions generally pay for first, second or third place. I've labelled entries with a $ sign below where I was paid. In recent years, I've also received payments from the Copyright Agency Ltd. They have an Annual Writers Distribution scheme.
